Disney Trip & Knitting

Things have been a little hectic lately with finalizing details for our Disney trip in March. I am looking forward to spending time with my family and making new memories with my kids. Though I am anxious about the plane ride and how well my daughter, Jordan, will handle all the traveling. My biggest concern is the TSA and all the horror stories about how they treat small children. Fingers crossed it all goes well.
On another note, I am extremely excited about my knitting. I have met a wonderful group of ladies who meet up twice a week to knit. I am in heaven when I am able to join them. I have only been able to meet with this group twice but I have already learned so much. I enjoy seeing their projects and the progress they make.
I am working on a couple of different projects right now. I am working on a cable throw for my daughter and a wrap for me. I finished my son's Christmas stocking two weeks ago and I love the way it came out. I also want to knit my first pair of socks and well as knit a bag for me. I feel like I have to get it all done before our trip. I don't know why.
This is the first panel to my cable throw. I like the way the yarn changes shades.

This is progress I've made on my wrap so far. I just <3 the way it is turning out.
This is my son's Christmas stocking.
